This Course will cover the basics of being an actor for both Stage and On-Camera. Classes will cover; Acting exercises designed to develop the mind, body, face, voice and eyes. The actors will work on their ability to focus, listen, observe and communicate. The actor will also learn character study and sense memory skills. This class is good for new students and those experienced actors looking to sharpen their creative skills.

Acting 102 Soldifying the Foundation
This course is a more detailed continuation of Acting 101 with higher expectations of the students. Monologue and Dialogue practice for both Stage and On-Camera will be added. Students must have completed Acting 101 or have permission from instructor to take this class.

Acting 103 Increasing the Actors Foundation knowledge
Improv for actors continuation, Cold Reading, Line lifting, Memorization’s techniques, use of backstories, script interpretation and scene analysis are added to the actors repertoire.
Student can attend more one day a week without addition cost. Students must have completed Acting 102 or have permission from instructor to take this class.

Acting 104 Acting for Commercials
Squire Fridell listed an interesting fact in his book “Acting in Television Commercials for fun and profit. “The Screen Actors Guild has revealed a staggering fact: Commercials represent about half of the total income of all actors.
In this course, you will be taught all the things you need to know about acting for commercials, the different types of commercials and why these methods are so important to actors and actresses today. You all learn the Do’s and Don’ts of how to use your commercial experience with your resume.

Acting 201 Acting for the camera
This class features the “Intuitive Theory of Acting” developed by the late Darrel Wayne. This course focuses on experiencing the character as a person and developing a deeper back story based on your character life. Students must have completed Acting 103 or have permission from instructor to take this class.

Acting 301 Advanced Scene Study and Analysis
This class is designed for the experienced actor only. Students will be learning to develop their character for a professional production. Students must have completed Acting 203 or have permission from instructor to take this class.

Acting 302 Performance reviews
In this class Student performances will be professionally evaluated weekly with the purpose of finding and correcting audition and performance flaws. This is the finally class preparatory to the certification required for graduation from Hollywood Bound*. Students must pass a receive a minimum passing grade from 3 of 4 professors in the final evaluation in order to graduate. Students must have completed Acting 301 or have permission from instructor to take this class.
